Dress Shoe Size 10 Running Shoe Size 11

If you wear size 10 in Nike, you need size 10.5 in Asics! Therefore, check out this size guide before you buy your next pair of running shoes...

HOW TO FIND THE RIGHT SHOE SIZE

For some reason, running shoe manufacturers do not quite agree on how big a size 7 or a size 10 is. Thus, if you have a running shoe already, it does not mean that you can automatically assume that you need the same size if you change to another brand!

We have compiled this guide that makes it easy for you to find the right shoe size when you buy your next running shoes.

There are two main ways to find the right shoe size:

The first option is that you have a pair of running shoes that fit you perfectly already.

The second option is that you do not have a pair of running shoes already.

I have a pair of running shoes already:

The best way to find the right size shoes is if you already have a running shoe that fits perfectly.

HOW TO DO IT:

1. Find the brand and size of your current running shoe in the table (at the bottom of the article).

2. Go up or down VERTICALLY, until you land at the brand of your future running shoes.

3. You can now see which size to buy.

EXAMPLE:

- You have an Asics men's running shoe in size 10.5 and want to buy a pair of Saucony running shoes.

- Asics size 10.5 corresponds to a CM measurement of 29.

- Move down the "29" column, until you reach Saucony.

- You can now see that you must choose size 10 in Saucony running shoes.

I do NOT have a pair of running shoes already:

If you do not have a running shoe already, you can find the right size by measuring the length of your foot and choosing from the shoes' CM measurement.

The CM measurement indicates the shoe's inside length in centimetres and is the best basis for comparison when you need to buy a new shoe. It is the only indication of size that is consistent across brands.

Tip: The CM measurement appears on most running shoes and is listed under either "CM" or "JP".

HOW TO DO IT:

1. Place a piece of paper on the floor with one edge flush against a wall.

2. Then place your foot on top of the paper with the heel against the wall.

3. Make a mark at the end of your longest toe and then measure the distance from the mark to the edge of the paper.

4. Then add 1 to 1.5 cm to your measured length (depending on how much air you want for your toes).

5. Choose your shoe size using the CM measurement which gets closest to the number you got.

EXAMPLE:

- You want to buy a pair of Mizuno men's running shoes.

- You measure your foot length to 25.6 cm.

- 25.6 cm + 1.5 cm = 27.1 cm.

- Thus, you must choose a running shoe with a CM measurement of = 27.

- Look up in the men's table (at the bottom of the article) next to Mizuno and CM 27.

- You can now see that you must choose size 8 in Mizuno men's running shoes.

I cannot find my shoe brand in the table

If you cannot find the brand of your current running shoes in the tables below, you can use the CM measurement stated inside your running shoe. You need to look for the number listed next to "CM" or "JP" inside your running shoes. Then you can find the correct size of the shoes that you would like to buy, by looking in the column with the CM measurement found in your shoes.

SIZE GUIDE — TABLES

The tables below are made on the basis of the running shoe's CM measurement, which indicates the shoe's inside length in centimetres and is the best basis for comparison when you are buying a new shoe. If you wear a running shoe with size "CM 27" in one brand, you are very, very likely to wear the same in another brand!

NOTE! The tables provide the correct size in most cases. There will always be a risk that some shoes differ slightly from these tables if, for example, they have a very tight-fitting upper or the like, which may make it necessary to go up in size by half a centimetre.
